On the theme of “Incredible Mineral Crystals, Eternal Copper”, the expo was held both online and offline.

 

Chenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center provided an exhibition area of around 30,000 square meters for about 1,000 standard booths, where special mineral crystals in Chenzhou were displayed, such as fluorite, calcite, Huanglong jade and Linwu’s Tongtian jade, as well as minerals in other places like native copper, aerolite and emerald.

 

 

There were two highlights in the exhibition hall. One was a dinosaur fossil of 39.8 meters in length and 15 meters in height. This giant dinosaur was estimated to live in the late Jurassic Period 140 million years ago and extinct in the Cretaceous Period. The other highlight was a large native copper nugget dating back over 1 billion years, which is rare in the world. 

 

The online expo set 30 special VR panoramic booths and 500 standard booths.

 

 

During the expo, a series of activities were held, including opening ceremony, summit forums, a promotional meeting for Uruguayan minerals and gems, an investment attraction meeting for Chenzhou’s industrial projects and a livestreaming shopping festival.

 

 

20 major projects worth 8.559 billion yuan were signed, involving jewelry processing, cultural tourism, electronic information, energy saving, intelligent home appliance and many other fields.
